Q:
How in the curriculum and teaching procedure provided by Lertlah School?
A:
The integrated and child-centered methodologies are applied to the teaching of thestudents. These methodologies emphasize that the students are the most important part of teaching and learning. This helps to develop the learners to their full potential. Students,under the guidance and leadership of the teachers, learn how to research for knowledge throughout their life. Students are able to apply the knowledge abtained to daily situations.
   
Q:
Do teachers provide sufficient activities for the students based on child-centered strategy?
A:
Teachers provide learning activities for all students with out exception. The learning process is based on the participation in activities. Students need to join in and be actively involved in every step of the learning activity planned. Students will learn by doing cecause listening, reading or discussing are not enough. Learning comes from doing.
   
Q:
Do the students who graduate from the P6 Bilingual program have as much knowledge and ability as those who have learned in the Thai program?
A:
The students who graduate from the bilingual program are able to continue their studies in all reputable middle level schools. They are taught all the core subjects which are important in testing before entering the middle level schools. Our school arranges timetables in accordance with the number of learning hours atipulated by the Ministry of Education curriculum.
   
Q:
My children are vegetarians. Does the school provide vegetarian meals?
A:
Yes, vegetarian meals are available. The meals provided for the students at Lertlah meet strict guidelines in terms of nutritional quality and hygenic standards.
   
Q:
What is the difference between the Bilingual and Immersion Programs?
A:
The Immersion Program is from K1 to P6. The students receive approximately 80% of their instruction in English. The homeroom teachers are native English speakers. The Bilingual Program in from K1 to P6. These students receive approximately 50% of their instruction in English. The homeroom teachers are Thai and work closely with the English speakering teachers. Content requirements are met for English instruction through Math, Science and Language Art.
